# Contact Fields Every contact in RelayBook has a rich set of fields to capture all the information you need. No detail has to live in a separate spreadsheet or sticky note. > [!quote] Complete Records, Complete Relationships > The more you know about a contact, the better you can ==manage the relationship==. Select options can be added or removed from the field at any time. Custom fields can also be populated during [[CSV Import]] by mapping CSV columns to field definitions. See [[Custom Fields]] for how to create and manage fields. ## Automatic Fields These are managed by RelayBook automatically: | Field | Description | |-------|-------------| | **Created at** | When the contact was first added | | **Updated at** | When the contact was last modified | | **Created by** | The user who added the contact | ## Company Auto-Complete When typing a company name, RelayBook suggests companies already used in the current book. This keeps company names consistent across contacts. > [!success] The Key Idea > Contact records are designed to be comprehensive. Fill in what you have now and add more over time.
