# Team Books Team books are shared address books that every team member can access. Assign your existing books to the team to share them across your organisation. > [!quote] Share What Matters > Assign books to your team and ==everyone gets access== — no individual invitations needed. ## How Team Books Work When a book is assigned to a team: - **All team members** see it in their sidebar, separated by a "Team" divider - **Pro features** apply automatically to team books - The book shows the **team name** instead of "Private" in the sidebar - Members can create, edit, and manage contacts just like personal books ## Assigning a Book to the Team 1. Open the **Team Dashboard** and go to the **Books** tab 2. Click **Assign Book** 3. Select a personal book you own 4. The book is now shared with all team members > [!note] Owner only > Only the **book owner** can assign a book to a team. The book must not already belong to another team. ## Removing a Book from the Team 1. Go to the **Books** tab in the Team Dashboard 2. Click **Remove** next to the book 3. The book becomes a personal book again Team members lose access immediately. The book and its contacts are preserved — only the sharing is removed. ## Team Books in the Sidebar Team books appear in the left sidebar below your personal books, with a clear separator: - **Personal books** — at the top - **Gold "TEAM" divider** — separates the sections - **Team books** — below the divider Click any team book to view and manage its contacts, just like a personal book. > [!tip] Visual distinction > Team books show the team name (e.g. "Cedar Creek Team") instead of "Private" under the book name in the full sidebar. > [!success] The Key Idea > Assign books to your team and every member gets instant access.
